If you have around $12,000 to spend and need a break from 2022, a South Carolina vacation home near the beach awaits.

The three bedroom villa in the Sea Pines neighborhood of Hilton Head Island is – at $11,560 a night – currently the most expensive home rental in South Carolina listed on Vrboa popular online vacation rental marketplace.

At 1,600 square feet, the pet-friendly home offers views of the ninth hole at Atlantic Dunes by Davis Love III. The house also has an outdoor dining area and a full kitchen equipped with all amenities.

A floating staircase that anchors the open living space extends to a skylight and three guest bedrooms. Additionally, the master bedroom includes a balcony that allows visitors to enjoy views of the golf course from the treetops.

But while the Sea Pines house is the most expensive rental on Vrbo, there are others that come close to the price. Below are the next four most expensive home rentals in the state.

The coastal soul of the estuary

Also on Hilton Head, this four-bedroom, three-bathroom home is a 3 minute walk or 60 second golf cart ride to the beach. The house can accommodate up to 20 people and offers nearby bike paths and golf.

This first villa Kiawah Island Golf Resort is located in East Beach Village and features three bedrooms, three bathrooms. The home offers plenty of ocean views from its lanai and deck, as well as direct beach access.

Another one villa by the sea on Kiawah Island, this 1,252 square foot two-story penthouse has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Enjoy lounging and listening to the ocean waves on the first floor or step out onto the private covered balcony to enjoy the sights and sounds of Kiawah Beach.

There are also 30 miles of flat bike paths nearby to enjoy, as well as golf, tennis, fishing, swimming, and boating.

Price: $9,999 per night

Piper Point

This 5,100 square foot, three story house by the sea at Isle of Palms offer six bedrooms and nine bathrooms, terraces and a roof terrace. The house also has a private pool that overlooks the Atlantic and a hot tub.

The decks feature outdoor furniture, outdoor living space and a dining table. The kitchen also has an ocean view, as well as all stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and a large island.
