Inside a ransacked Blackpool hotel which will need refurbishment by new owners

A desolate Blackpool hotel is sure to need a lot of attention from anyone who decides to buy it.

Previously, the Woodley Hotel in North Shore housed 18 bedrooms and 17 en-suites with one en-suite. In an ideal location, it is close to the Promenade and entertainment including Pleasure Beach, Madame Tussauds and the various arcades.

However, due to minor fire damage, the building requires work from anyone looking to buy, which could provide a blank canvas for a new resort. There is also a private two bedroom accommodation in the building so the owners can live on site.

At auction, this hotel has not been marketed for several years and has suffered extensive damage. On the ground floor there is a porch with a tiled floor and a reception with a desk for check-ins.

Also on the ground floor, the hotel has a lounge bar with benches and a games room. The dining room has enough space for 36 guests and also leads to a kitchen, beer cellar and storage room.

On the flowered ground floor there is the private accommodation of two bedrooms, a living room, a bathroom and a master bedroom with fitted wardrobes. On the first floor are the first batch of guest rooms with two twin rooms, five family rooms and two singles.

On the second floor are the rest, consisting of three double bedrooms, one twin bedroom, four family bedrooms and one single which all have en-suite bathrooms. Outside there is a paved garden to the front and parking to the rear with space for four vehicles.

Despite the damaged building, it could be perfect for anyone looking to buy a hotel and want to start from scratch. In an ideal location for tourists in Blackpool, this is a project not to be missed.

The hotel is for sale at £150,000 and can be found here.
