Cumbria wins five awards for the country’s best holiday accommodation as Visit England announces ROSE winners

Five accommodation providers across Lancashire have won top awards after VisitEngland announced the winners of the ROSE Awards today (6 May).

Castlerigg Holiday Park, Keswick, Mire Garth, Sedbergh and The Glen Guest House, Oxenholme are just a few of the providers who have won top accolades. The ROSE Awards honor accommodation providers across England who offer visitors the warmest of welcomes.

Now in its sixth year, after being discontinued in 2020 and 2021, they celebrate establishments, regardless of star rating, style or accommodation type, where owners, management and employees offer exceptional experiences to their customers. ROSE Award winners were nominated by VisitEngland’s Quality Program assessors and selected based on feedback from assessors and online feedback from overseas and domestic visitors.

VisitEngland Director Andrew Stokes said: “It’s great to see the ROSE Awards back as we celebrate and congratulate accommodation businesses across England who excel in customer service and create exceptional experiences that inspire visitors to come back time after time.

“The awards are also a wonderful showcase of the breadth of exceptional accommodation across England, with visitors spoiled for choice.
